The two-CD set, which will arrive in stores Feb. 7, 2006, features the cast recording as well as a second CD with composer Elton John's renditions of three tunes from the musical: "The Letter," "Merry Christmas Mrs. Thatcher" and "Electricity." The Decca press release also says that Billy Elliot will make its Broadway bow some time in 2007.

A huge box-office hit, Billy Elliot — based on the movie of the same name — has been seen by more than 250,000 people since opening in London in March 2005. It is currently booking through Oct. 21, 2006 at London's Victoria Palace Theatre.

The show is written by Lee Hall with music by Elton John. Stephen Daldry who, alongside Hall, was behind the award-winning film version, directs. The cast features Haydn Gwynne (Mrs. Wilkinson), Philip Whitchurch (Dad), Chris Lennon (Tony), Ann Emery (Grandma), Paul Broughton (George), Alex Delamere (Mr. Braithwaite), Stephanie Putson (Mum), Isaac James (Older Billy) and Leon Cooke, Liam Mower and Travis Yates, who alternate in the title role.
