News Birdland to Feature Bucchino, Shindle, Pedi, McDaniel, Stitt, Brown and More in March A host of Broadway favorites will take to the intimate stage of the famed jazz club Birdland in March.

The Broadway Boys, who include Danny Calvert, Jesse Nager, Maurice Murphy, Daniel Torres, Michael James Scott and Josh Strickland, will kick off the month with a March 2 concert at the West Side club. Show time is 7 PM. Amour composer Michel Legrand will offer Romance… with Strings Attached March 3-8 at 8:30 and 11 PM. The evenings will feature Legrand backed by Catherine Michel (harp), Lewis Nash (drums) and David Finck (bass), who will re-create the sounds of Legrand's orchestral recordings.

John Bucchino & Friends, which will feature A Catered Affair composer Bucchino and several guest stars, will be presented March 9 at 7 PM, and funny gal Christine Pedi will offer Winging It at Birdland March 16 at 7 PM.

Legally Blonde's Kate Shindle and conductor-composer-record producer-orchestrator John McDaniel will join forces for a one-night-only gig March 23 at 7 PM. Composer and lyricist Georgia Stitt will also perform at Birdland for one night, March 30 at 9 PM.

Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, represented on Broadway earlier this season with 13, will offer The Last Five Years In Concert, which "sums up his work from the past five years," according to press notes. Performances dates are March 31-April 4 at 7 PM.

The month will conclude with Broadway favorite Jessica Molaskey and the John Pizzarelli Quartet March 31-April 4 at 9 and 11 PM.
