News Birdsong, Hines, Lewis, Kennedy, Babko and Parker Join Short for A Party with Marty Benefit Mary Birdsong, Cheryl Hines and Jenifer Lewis will join Tony Award-winning comedian Martin Short for A Party with Marty Nov. 1 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills.

Birdsong ("Reno 911"), who appeared in Short's last Broadway outing, All About Me, will reunite with the veteran stage and screen performer for the benefit evening that will also feature Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm"), Lewis (Hairspray), Jeff Babko (“The Jimmy Kimmel Show”), Jack Kennedy and Nicole Parker (“MADtv," How to Succceed).

As previously reported, Short will be joined by Jason Alexander for the 8 PM performance that will benefit Los Angeles' Reprise Theatre Company. Alexander, known for "Seinfeld" and Broadway's The Rink and Jerome Robbins' Broadway, serves as the artistic director of Reprise.

The evening will also serve as a reunion for Short and Alexander, who co-starred in the Los Angeles production of Mel Brooks' The Producers.

Short has appeared in the Broadway productions of The Goodbye Girl and delivered a Tony-winning performance in the revival of Little Me. He last appeared on Broadway in Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me. His extensive screen credits include "Saturday Night Live," "The Father of the Bride," "Primetime Glick" and "Three Amigos."
