News Black Brings In God We Rust to City Center April 22 Political comedian Lewis Black performs his solo show In God We Rust at New York City Center beginning April 22.

The stand-up comedian, actor and commentator began a national tour of the evening in January. In God We Rust will play City Center through April 24. Well known for his television appearances, including "Lewis Black's Root of All Evil," Black also contributes regularly to "The Daily Show with John Stewart." As an author, Black has penned "Nothing's Sacred" and "Me of Little Faith." He has written the plays The Deal and One Slight Hitch.

His work as an actor includes Once in a Lifetime, Camino Real, The Matchmaker and Dead End. Black also established the Bill Foeller Fellowship for emerging young directors at the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
