Entitled What If?, the revue will begin performances Aug. 10 at the Hudson Main Stage Theatre on Santa Monica Boulevard. Heading the cast are Forbidden Broadway's Susanne Blakeslee and The Goodbye Girl's Tammy Minoff as well as Paul Haber, Ryan Raftery and Alet Taylor. The revue, according to production notes, is described as a "delicious romp of musical parodies, plus songs written by cabaret and musical theatre songwriters like Billy Barnes, Doug Bernstein and Denis Markell, Rupert Holmes, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, Leroy Anderson and Walter and Jean Kerr, Bruce Kimmel [and] Mary Rodgers." The production answers such What Ifs as "What if Stephen Sondheim wrote Bye, Bye Birdie and what if Rodgers and Hammerstein had written Assassins and what if Frank Loesser had written The King & I?"

The creative team for What If? comprises Jose C. Simbulan (musical director), Cheryl Baxter and Joseph R. McKee (choreographers), Eddie Adams (assistant director), Melissa Ficociello (set designer), Amy Adams (costume designer), Steven Pope (lighting designer) and Dale A. Cook (stage manager).

What If? will offer two preview performances Aug. 10 and 11 at 8 PM and will then play Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM through Sept. 12.
