The OverDrive Productions presentation, directed by James Duff, takes place at the elite all-female Connie Francis College in Southern California. Two students are after the part of Brutus in the school production of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. When Megan beat out rival Julianne for the role, the latter, cast as ill-fated Caesar, takes out her revenge on stage. As press materials describe: "On opening night, when Caesar is supposed to die in the play, Julianne not only doesn't fall, she becomes a bloodthirsty murderess who, not unlike Brutus' surprise betrayal of Caesar, takes overacting to a new level and kills her co-star and then flees from the theatre. Now a fugitive, Julianne becomes a media star for her desperate act.
Making up the cast at the homicidal high school are Whitney Adams, Janine Barris, Katrina Kitsis, Allison McAtee, Meghan Love, Katie Maguire, Stephanie Schweitzer, Brian Sloan, Jessica Underwood and James Andrew Walsh.
