News Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson's Benjamin Walker Will Play Abraham Lincoln in New Film Benjamin Walker, who starred in the short-lived Broadway musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson earlier this season, is keeping in the presidential mode.

Walker, according to Variety, will play Abraham Lincoln in the upcoming film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter."

Directed by Timur Bekmambetov, "Vampire Hunter" features a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith, who also penned the novel that inspired the film.

The motion picture, according to the industry paper, "revolves around the president's quest to rid the world of vampires, presented as the real conflict behind the Civil War."

Bekmambetov will co-produce with Tim Burton and Jim Lemley. Filming in 3-D will begin in March.

"Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" is currently scheduled for a release June 22, 2012.
