The June 21 reading, presented at the June Havoc Theatre in Manhattan, will feature newlyadded cast members Tony Award nominee Joel Blum (Steel Pier, Show Boat), Rebecca Eichenberger (Phantom of the Opera, Carousel), Lindsay Northen (Wicked), Noah Weisberg (Enron, South Pacific) and Lee Zarrett (Hair). They join a cast that will feature Block (9 to 5, The Pirate Queen, Wicked), Jonathan Kaplan (Falsettos), Gretchen Bieber (Hairspray) and Erik Liberman (LoveMusik).

Daniel Kutner (associate director Paradise Found, LoveMusik) will stage the reading of the musical based on Schulman's play The Kitchen. Schulman penned the book for the work that has music and lyrics by Roberts (Golf: The Musical).

The work is billed as "a new musical that questions the 'facts' surrounding an author's award-winning memoir. With a troubled family front and center, dueling versions of the truth collide as long-buried secrets are revealed in this hilarious and moving musical about family, memory and the passage of time."
