News Body of Women Performances to Honor Sexual Assault Awareness Month 4th U Artivists will present a song cycle, a monologue collection, and a new play.

4th U Artivists, the New York City-based nonprofit whose mission is to help end violence against women, is behind Body of Women, a series of performances commemorating Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The April event will feature a song cycle, a monologue collection, and a new play.

Body of Women will run April 22 at 7 PM and April 23 at 3 PM and 7 PM only in the 4th Universalist Society’s church on the Upper West Side.

The show is made up of Havoc! A Song Cycle for Six Women Who Give a F**k, an indie pop song cycle from Terra Warman; Breastimonials, a monologue collection discussing different women’s relationships with their bodies, written and directed by Kaedy Fischer; and Habitat, a play that examines the diverse experiences and vulnerability of its queer characters.

To date, 4th U Artivists has raised over $100,000 in funds to help end violence against girls and women through creative projects.
