Classic Arts News Bolcom, Farley, and Serebrier to Appear at Lincoln Center Barnes & Noble Composer William Bolcom, soprano Carole Farley, and conductor Jos_ Serebrier will appear at the Barnes & Noble near Lincoln Center on September 19 to sign and discuss their recent CDs.
The event takes place at 7 p.m.

William Bolcom: Songs features Farley singing works by the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, with Bolcom himself accompanying her on the piano. Bolcom's recent recordings also includes Songs of Innocence and Experience.

Two recordings of Mussorgsky and Tchaikovsky works transcribed by Serebrier's onetime mentor Leopold Stokowski will be released on September 20. On one album, Serebrier leads the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, Night on Bald Mountain, and other works; on the other, he leads the orchestra in Tchaikovsky's Solitude, Humoresque, and Stokowski's Traditional Slavic Christmas Music.

All four albums are on the Naxos label.
