A five-day festival starting tomorrow at Moscow's Bolshoi Theatre will celebrate the 80th birthday of dancer Maya Plisetskaya, Pravda reports.

The celebration also includes a series of photography shows about Plisetskaya, a longtime dancer with the Bolshoi's company, as well as a former director of Opera Ballet of Rome, Spain's National Lyric Ballet Company, and the Russian Imperial Ballet, which she founded.

The festival, which runs through November 20, features ballets with roles made famous by Plisetskaya—Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Carmen Suite. Svetlana Zakharova, a current Bolshoi star, will dance the role of Carmen.
