News Book of Mormon and "Pitch Perfect" Star Ben Platt to Play 54 Below Book of Mormon and "Pitch Perfect" star Ben Platt will play a three-concert engagement at 54 Below, beginning Aug. 18.

Platt, who currently stars as Elder Cunningham in the Tony Award-winning hit The Book of Mormon, will play the nightlife venue Aug. 18 at 7 PM, Aug. 25 at 9:30 PM and Sept. 1 at 7 PM.

In addition to his stage work, Platt is known for playing Benji Applebaum in "Pitch Perfect."

Here's how Platt's 54 Below solo debut is billed: "To celebrate finally making the move to NYC, Ben Platt comes to 54 Below to sing some of his favorites and share tales of Mormons, his fellow aca-people, and of course, his family of singing Jews. Expect everything from soul, to Pop and R&B to musical theatre and some special guests!"
