Great news for theatre lovers who dream of seeing the wider world.

Playbill Travel is now booking the latest in its exciting series of theatre cruises, Broadway on the Danube River, November 3–13.

Guests on the tour will get to see exciting live entertainment (and rub elbows) with Broadway stars including Tony Award nominees Carmen Cusack (Bright Star), Christopher Fitzgerald, (Waitress, Finian’s Rainbow), Marc Kudisch, (Thoroughly Modern Millie, 9 to 5), Christopher Sieber, (Spamalot, Shrek The Musical), and Brandon Uranowitz (Falsettos), plus Drama Desk Award nominee Julia Murney (The Wild Party) and Seth Rudetsky (Disaster!), as well as other exciting talent to be announced.

Cusack told Playbill that she’s looking forward to performing her solo show, If You Knew My Story, on the cruise; looking forward to meeting fans; and looking forward to spending shipboard time with her husband, Paul Telfer, who has never accompanied her on a cruise before, including when she played the Queen Elizabeth II.

This third installment in Playbill Travel’s series of river cruises, Broadway on the Danube River will bring Cusack and her fellow stars to the heart of Imperial Europe for ten nights and 11 days of spectacular scenery, excursions, and entertainment aboard the Crystal Mozart, Crystal Cruises’ luxury river yacht. Sailing round-trip from Vienna, this adventure visits Vienna, Linz, and Dürnstein/Melk in Austria; Passau in Germany; Bratislava in Slovakia; and Budapest in Hungary. This itinerary and ports of call are subject to change.

Napoleon proclaimed the Danube the “Queen of Europe’s Rivers.” It has inspired classical masters such as Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart, and Schubert and has produced world-renowned wines. Culinary delights abound for the food and wine enthusiast—from farm-to-table dining at the Waterside Restaurant on board to sampling the award-winning wines of the Wachau Valley. Our cruise on the Danube is sure to leave you with lifelong friends and enduring memories.

Cabins are also still available for Playbill’s Rhine River cruise in August 2017, featuring Rudetsky, Andréa Burns, Faith Prince, Terrence Mann, Charlotte d’Amboise, and Santino Fontana.
