Boston Marriage by David Mamet, will open at the New Ambassadors Theatre on Dec. 3, following a run at the Donmar Warehouse earlier this year, starring Zoe Wanamaker, Anna Chancellor and Lyndsey Marshal. In the play, Mamet examines the ambiguous relationship between two women, and the title itself refers to a 19th Century New England term for a close, steady relationship between two respectable women who live in the same household.
The play, seen earlier this year at the Donmar Warehouse, transfers with its original cast. The production at the Donmar, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, received enthusiastic reviews.
Tickets are now on sale for performances to Feb. 16, 2002.
