Michael Arden, Mary Stout and Ana Noguiera star, respectively, as David, Pam and Julie. The musical was previously presented in 2007 as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival's Next Link Project.

Featuring book and lyrics by Michael Lluberes and a score penned by Joe Maloney, The Boy in the Bathroom follows David, a young man who never leaves his family's bathroom. "His mother feeds him thin, flat food she can slide under the door. He has everything he needs," according to previous NYMF press notes. "David has obsessive-compulsive disorder and he's not going anywhere... until he meets Julie... and discovers that there might be something — or someone — on the other side of the door that will make it worth opening."

Lyricist/librettist Lluberes helms the reading, which is produced by Jaimie Mayer and Don't Eat the Pictures Productions.

New World Stages is located in Manhattan at 340 West 50th Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Show times are 3 and 7 PM.
