Eyre will be on hand to discuss the new Broadway musical Mary Poppins, which recently opened on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The two-hour A&E program will also include segments about singer-actress Olivia Newton-John, the new James Bond film "Casino Royale," the rock-n-roll band Oasis, singer-songwriter Toby Lightman and guitarist Derek Trucks.
Sir Richard Eyre received Tony Award nominations for Best Director of a Play for Skylight and The Crucible. Some of his numerous other directorial credits include Vincent in Brixton, Amy's View, The Judas Kiss, Stanley, Skylight, Racing Demon, Indiscretions, Arcadia, An Inspector Calls, Carousel, The Grapes of Wrath, The Secret Rapture and Ghetto.
