News Brian d'Arcy James and Kelli O'Hara Star in And Then I Wrote 'The Music Man' Concert Brian d'Arcy James and Kelli O'Hara, who co-starred in the short-lived Broadway musical Sweet Smell of Success, re-team for the Keen Company's tenth annual benefit June 16.

The Tony-nominated actors co-star in a concert reading of And Then I Wrote 'The Music Man' June 16 at The Lucille Lortel Theatre. James plays Music Man creator Meredith Willson with O'Hara as his wife Rini. Brian Cimmet is the accompanist.

Carl Forsman directs the hour-long musical, "wherein Meredith Willson and his wife Rini perform for us his hit show The Music Man," according to the Keen Company. The musical is based on Meredith Willson's Capitol Records recording and his book, "But He Doesn't Know the Territory."

The evening will begin at 6:30 PM with a cocktail reception and silent auction at Cooper Classic followed by the 8 PM performance at the Lortel.

Brian d'Arcy James, who was Tony-nominated for his performance in the title role of Shrek the Musical, made his Broadway debut in Blood Brothers, and his other Main Stem credits include Time Stands Still, The Apple Tree, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Carousel, Titanic and Sweet Smell of Success, earning a Tony nomination for his performance in the latter. James' Off-Broadway credits include Next to Normal as well as The Good Thief (Obie Award), The Wild Party, Ancestral Voices, Velvet Vise, Public Enemy and Floyd Collins. He is currently back on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal.

Kelli O'Hara was Tony-nominated for her performances in South Pacific, The Pajama Game and The Light in the Piazza. O'Hara's other Broadway credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Follies, Sweet Smell of Success and Dracula, the Musical. She was also seen in the Reprise! staging of Sunday in the Park with George. O'Hara's debut solo recording, "Wonder in the World," is available on the Ghostlight Records label. She will return to the cast of South Pacific later this summer.
