Regional News Broadway Actors Set for Drury Lane’s Chicago Performances of the award-winning musical begin April 20.

Chicago's Drury Lane Theatre has announced casting for its upcoming production of the award-winning musical Chicago, which will be presented April 20–June 18.

Drury Lane Theatre artistic director William Osetek will direct with choreography by Tony nominee Jane Lanier and music direction by Roberta Duchak.

Leading the production are Broadway veterans Kelly Felthous (Flashdance, Wicked, Grease) as Roxie Hart and Alena Watters (Sister Act, The Addams Family, West Side Story) as Velma Kelly. The principal cast also includes Guy Lockard (Billy Flynn), Justin Brill (Amos Hart), Michael Accardo (Master of Ceremonies), and E. Faye Butler (Matron Mama Morton) with Jessica Blair, Lauren Nicole Blane, Matt Casey, Brian Duncan, Rueben Echoles, Erica Evans, Alejandro Fonseca, Michael George, Allyson Graves, Rachel Hafell, Daniel Hurst, Joseph London, Jay Reynolds Jr., Haley Schneider, and Aaron Umsted.

Chicago, featuring a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Ebb, is based on the play by Maurine Dallas Watkins.

The creative team also includes scenic designer Kevin Depinet, costume designer Sully Ratke, lighting designer Lee Fiskness, sound designer Ray Nardelli, properties designer Cassy Schillo, and wig designer Claire Moores. The production stage manager is Larry Baker.

A portion of the opening-night tickets sales will be donated to Strides for Peace, a nonprofit providing community resources intended to reduce gun violence in the Chicago area.
