News Broadway Back to School Concert Will Feature Julia Murney and Jenna Ushkowitz Hunter Bell and Susan Blackwell will co-host the September 26 benefit concert at Feinstein’s 54 Below.

[title of show] creators Hunter Bell and Susan Blackwell will return to co-host Broadway Back to School, a benefit concert presented by The International Thespian Society.

The 7 PM concert will include Jenna Ushkowitz, Marla Louissant, Julia Murney and Stephen Karam.

“The inaugural Broadway Back to School event last year sent a flare up to say the Broadway community is connected to EdTA and supports the mission,” Bell said in a statement.

“Having the opportunity to experience theatre in school changes lives,” added EdTA executive director, Julie Cohen Theobald.

Sponsors include Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Broadway League, ITS alum and co-host Hunter Bell, the Frederick R. Coudert Foundation, ITS alum Mark Drum, Music Theatre International, Playbill and Walt Disney Imagineering – Creative Entertainment.
