Broadway Bares: Classic, part of the "Solo Strips" series benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will be presented June 6 at 9 PM and 11 PM at the Manhattan dance club.
Headlining the evening will be Bares creator and executive producer Jerry Mitchell, who will take to the stage of Splash, where he first created the event in 1992. Others scheduled to bare (mostly) all for charity include Jennifer Cody (Shrek The Musical), Steve Geary (Contact), Sebastian LaCause (The Rocky Horror Show), Rachelle Rak (Fosse) and Christopher Harrison and Andrew Pacho (both from AntiGravity).
Mitchell stated, "Friends have been asking just how much I will be taking off, and I'm not quite sure yet. But I always find getting dressed much harder. Don't you? Don't miss the fun!"
The evening will feature the work of choreographers Mitchell, Christopher Harrison, Andrew Pacho, Denis Jones, Peter Gregus, Nick Kenkel and Rachelle Rak.
Tickets are $20 and are available online at www.BroadwayBares.com or by calling (212) 840-0770, ext. 268 or at the door on the day of the event. Splash is located in Manhattan at 50 West 17th Street.
