News "Broadway in Bryant Park" Canceled July 15; Beauty's Romano, Little Shop's Fatone Added The July 15 afternoon presentation of the 106.7 Lite FM "Broadway in Bryant Park" series has been canceled due to the closing of the lawn because of poor weather conditions.

The musicals Movin' Out, Fiddler on the Roof, Aida, and Stomp were slated to perform at the midtown green, July 15. The shows are in the process of possibly being rescheduled for a later date, according to a spokesperson.

Current stars of Beauty and the Beast Christy Carlson Romano and Little Shop of Horrors Joey Fatone are slated to join their casts for upcoming performances.

Radio station 106.7 Lite FM presents "Broadway in Bryant Park," featuring current and upcoming stageshows and artists performing Starting July 8 and continuing every Thursday through Aug. 19, the event plays at the park from 12:30 PM to approximately 1:45 PM.

The remaining lineup (subject to change) is as follows:

  • From My Hometown, Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray - July 22
  • Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, Avenue Q - July 29
  • Broadway Dances (A Dancers Responding to AIDS special presentation featuring Karen Ziemba and Broadway performers) - Aug. 5
  • Bare: a Pop Opera, Chicago, The Lion King, Hair - Aug. 12
