The April event features artists from The Book of Mormon, Jesus Christ Superstar Live, and more.

On April 1, the inaugural ART|Pact performance benefit will feature live entertainment at New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge to benefit Dancers Responding to AIDS.

The event is presented by Leg Up On Life!, an artistic initiative founded by Daniel Gold hosting performance-based events to showcase artistry while raising awareness and funds for non-profits. Past Leg Up On Life! events include the Night of Life to benefit The Trevor Project, the monthly Queens for a Cause to benefit a variety of LGBTQ+ organizations, and Matriarch to benefit Planned Parenthood. Dancers Responding to AIDS, founded in 1991 by former Paul Taylor Dance Company members Denise Roberts Hurlin and Hernando Cortez, is a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

ART|Pact will feature live collaborations with a pre-show celebration and afterparty.

Choreographers participating in the evening include Andrew Barret Cox (Oscar at the Crown), Corey John Snide (Cats, Carousel), Daniel Gold (Nat’l tours Miss Saigon, Beauty and the Beast), JJ Niemann (The Book of Mormon), Kanon Sapp of looseKANONdance, Katelin Zelon, Miles Keeney, Mike Baerga (King Kong, Miss Saigon), Sarah Parker (Fiddler on the Roof, Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert), Steven Blandino, and Stephanie Card.

Singers include Caitlin Borek, Danielle Lussier (Nat’l tour Elf), Hernando Umana (Kinky Boots), Hernando Umana (Kinky Boots), Jenna Rubaii (Groundhog Day), Kayla Davion (Waitress), Kerri George, Lagoona Bloo (The Voice), Nick Martinez, Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Madge Dietrich (Nat’l tour Kinky Boots), Sam Assemany, Shonica Gooden (Cats, Hamilton), and Tess Primack (Fiddler on the Roof)

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
