News Broadway P.R. Firm Polk & Company Takes on Wicked, Rocky and If/Then Polk & Company, the Broadway public relations company founded in early 2013 by press agent Matt Polk, will take on such clients as Wicked and Second Stage Theatre, as well as the upcoming Broadway productions of Rocky, If/Then and The Velocity of Autumn.

Press agents from the soon-to-close Hartman Group, including Tom D'Ambrosio, Wayne Wolfe, Frances White and Colgan McNeil, whose accounts include the aforementioned productions, will join the Polk & Co. team as of Jan. 6, 2014.

In early December, Hartman Group founder Michael Hartman announced that the press agency he founded in 2009 would cease operation Jan. 5.

Polk & Co. also announced that it would take on the Off-Broadway hit Buyer & Cellar. Existing clients include Bronx Bombers, Of Mice and Men, as well as Roundabout Theatre Company productions of Machinal, Cabaret, Violet, The Real Thing, Bad Jews, Dinner with Friends and Too Much, Too Much, Too Many.

Additional clients include Bedlam's Saint Joan & Hamlet, Birdland Jazz Club, By Experience, production and set designer Derek McLane, and John Stamos.
