News Broadway PR Powerhouse O&M Aligns With DKC to Go Nationwide The boutique theatrical PR firm O&M, which is led by publicist Rick Miramontez and has established itself as a major Broadway player with such high-profile projects as Broadway's Spider-Man and the Tony-winning musicals Fun Home, Kinky Boots and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, has announced plans to go nationwide, joining forces with DKC Public Relations.

Sean Cassidy, President of DKC Public Relations, Marketing and Government Relations, announced the move Oct. 29. Along with Miramontez, O&M top execs Andy Snyder, Molly Barnett and other key staffers from the firm will remain on board to create DKC/O&M.

DKC's Joe Quenqua (Executive Vice President and Director of Entertainment) will lead the firm that will be headquartered in New York with offices across the U.S. in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Miami. In recent months, O&M has established itself in San Francisco, representing Carole Shorenstein Hays' Curran Theatre.

This allows O&M to take its self-described "quirky, boutique spirit" and build on it, incorporating DKC's event production, corporate sponsorships, integrated marketing, social media, advertising and branding and crisis management. The company's other arm, DKC INC!TE, will provide additional resources for high-profile event production.

"DKC understands that our unique and eclectic client roster requires special attention and expertise," Miramontez said in a statement. "This opportunity will allow us to provide our clients with all the resources of a leading, beautifully-run national agency, while still allowing us to maintain the quirky, boutique spirit we’ve built our reputation on."

"Rick is a true visionary who has shifted the landscape of Broadway and live entertainment over the past decade with the unparalleled success of O&M," Cassidy said in a statement. "This is a major transformational move for DKC, establishing the entertainment division as a wholly unique practice with major footprints in LA, San Francisco and NYC as well as arts and culture hubs throughout the country."
