The Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty musical Once on This Island has found a new Broadway home. The previously announced revival, directed by Deaf West's Spring Awakening Tony nominee Michael Arden, will play the Circle in the Square Theatre (most recently home to In Transit) this fall.

The in-the-round staging will begin performances November 9 prior to a December 3 official opening. Tickets are on sale now at Telecharge.com.

Camille A. Brown will choreograph, with original orchestrator Michael Starobin creating new arrangements with non-traditional instruments. Tony winner Nikki M. James will serve as assistant director.

The production has held an international casting call for the production in numerous locations, including Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, and even the show's setting: Haiti.

Rounding out the creative team are Tony-winning costume designer Clint Ramos, set designer Dane Laffrey, and lighting designers Jules Fisher and Peggy Eisenhauer. Casting will be announced at a later date. The revival is produced by Ken Davenport and Hunter Arnold.

The musical premiered at Playwrights Horizons in 1990 before transferring to Broadway later that year. The story follows peasant girl Ti Moune and her star-crossed romance with a young man from the wealthy side of her island, which is ruled by four island gods.
