News Broadway's Dana Ivey to Join "The Return of Jezebel James" Broadway star Dana Ivey has joined the cast for the FOX television pilot "The Return of Jezebel James," starring fellow stage alum Lauren Ambrose, Michael Arden, Parker Posey and Scott Cohen, according to Variety.

Amy Sherman-Palladino ("Gilmore Girls") created the new project for Regency TV and will direct the pilot, which centers on a newly-single editor (Posey) who turns to her younger sister (Ambrose) when she learns she cannot conceive. Ivey was recently seen on Broadway in Butley. The actress has been nominated for four Tony Awards — for her work in The Rivals, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, Sunday in the Park with George and Heartbreak House. Other credits include Henry IV, A Day in the Death of Joe Egg, Major Barbara, Waiting in the Wings and her OBIE Award-winning turns in Off-Broadway's Mrs. Warren's Profession and Driving Miss Daisy.

Ambrose — who made her Broadway debut in Awake and Sing! — was announced to star in the forthcoming Public Theater "Shakespeare in the Park" run of Romeo and Juliet. Posey earned praise for her turn in the 2005 revival of Hurlyburly and has also been seen on Broadway in Taller Than A Dwarf and Off-Broadway in Fifth of July.

Also featured in the cast are Arden (The Times They Are A-Changin'), Cohen (Losing Louie) and Ron McLarty (Our Country's Good).
