Aug. 2 – 7:30 PM: Opening Ceremonies with Chicago-based musical improvisation group, Baby Wants Candy Aug. 3 – 7:30 PM: The Story of My Life, a Brian Hill and Neil Bartram musical in concert, starring Deven May (Bat Boy - The Musical) and Jeffrey Kuhn (Assassins) Aug. 4 – 7:30 PM: Another Evening with Penny Fuller featuring the Tony-nominated star of Applause and The Dinner Party Aug. 5 - 7 PM: 2006 Cabaret Conference Particpants, featuring new talent Aug. 5 - 9:30 PM: André De Shields (Ain't Misbehavin', The Wiz, The Full Monty) in Black by Popular Demand) with Marlene Danielle and Frieda Williams, a "night of Urban Rhythm and Blues" Aug. 6 - 6 PM: Country Cabaret featuring Grammy Award winner Marcus Hummon ("God Bless the Broken Road") and Sherrie Austin ("Streets of Heaven") Aug. 8 - 7:30 PM: Associate Artistic Director Joel Silberman performs in his Politics and Poker Aug. 9 – 7:30 PM: Songs from "Warrior" – the music of Marcus Hummon featuring Austin, May and Marla Schaffel (Jane Eyre) with Hummon himself Aug. 10 – 7:30 PM: Special Performance with 2006 Cabaret Conference Participants Aug. 11 – 7:30 PM: Pure Heaven, The Life of Kay Thompson, featuring Ruth Williamson (The Music Man, La Cage aux Folles, "Nip/Tuck"), first developed at the Cabaret Conference in 2005 Aug. 12 – 7:30 PM: Grand Finale with all Cabaret Performers The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center was founded in 1964 and based in Waterford, CT. Programs at the Center also include the Puppetry Conference, Playwrights Conference, Critics Institute, Music Theater Conference and the National Theater Institute. The Monte Cristo Cottage, O'Neill's childhood home, is also owned and operated by the group.
