Cast members from Brooklyn The Musical will be on hand to autograph copies of the CD Jan. 13 from 5-6:30 PM. The actors will also perform a few numbers from the musical, which is currently playing the Plymouth Theatre. The live recording of Brooklyn was released Dec. 14. Available on the Brooklyn Records label, the new CD is distributed by Razor & Tie. "Brooklyn the Musical — Live!" — featuring a score by Mark Schoenfeld and Barri McPherson — was recorded in front of an invited studio audience and was produced by John McDaniel, who is the show's musical supervisor.

Directed and choreographed by Big River's Jeff Calhoun, Brooklyn began previews Sept. 23 and officially opened Oct. 21 at the Plymouth Theatre. Eden Espinosa, who portrays the title character Brooklyn, is featured in a company that also includes Kevin Anderson, Cleavant Derricks, Ramona Keller and Karen Olivo with Manoel Felciano, Julie Reiber, Sara Schmidt, Horace V. Rogers and Haneefah Wood.
