"Primetime Glick" is a talk show hosted by Short's alter ego, Jiminy Glick, a 300-pound Hollywood legend backed by harp-playing bandleader Adrien Van Voorhees (played by Michael McKean). The portly host interviews A-list celebrities without doing any background research and often eats during the chat while spouting off about his own life with wife Dixie (played by Jan Hooks).
The show's third season will debut with guests Brendan Fraser and Ice Cube on the cable network April 30 at 10:30 PM (ET). (Check local listings.) Other stars scheduled to make appearances this season include Jason Alexander ("Seinfeld," Jerome Robbins' Broadway), Lorraine Bracco ("The Sopranos," The Graduate), Mel Brooks ("Young Frankenstein," The Producers), Ellen DeGeneres ("Ellen"), Chris Elliot ("There's Something About Mary"), Brad Garrett ("Everybody Loves Raymond"), Jimmy Kimmel ("The Man Show"), Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace," The Music Man), tennis pro John McEnroe, Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace," How To Succeed...), Tim Robbins ("Bull Durham," The Guys), Rob Schneider ("Saturday Night Live"), film director Steven Spielberg ("E.T.," "Schindler's List"), Sharon Stone ("Basic Instinct") and Elijah Wood ("Lord of the Rings").
