The musical version of the famous Brooks film comedy opens at Broadway's Hilton Theatre Nov. 8.
On Nov. 8 "The Today Show" will broadcast excerpts from an exclusive interview NBC news anchor Brian Williams conducted with Mel Brooks. The "Today Show" segment will air between 8:30-9 AM (ET).
On the evening of Nov. 8, "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams" will air a profile of Brooks during its 6:30 (ET) broadcast.
On Sunday morning, Nov. 11, "Weekend Today" will air a Young Frankenstein feature including interviews with Brooks, director-choreographer Susan Stroman and principals Megan Mullally, Andrea Martin and Fred Applegate. "Weekend Today" airs 8-9 AM (ET).

Young Frankenstein stars Roger Bart (Dr. Frederick Frankenstein), Megan Mullally (Elizabeth), Sutton Foster (Inga), Shuler Hensley (The Monster), Andrea Martin (Frau Blucher), Fred Applegate (Inspector Kemp/Hermit) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Igor).
Young Frankenstein features a book by three-time Tony Award winner Mel Brooks and three-time Tony Award winner Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks.
