The Bryant Park Restoration Corporation and the radio station, Jammin' 105 are trying to organize a rain date after the July 27 segment of the summer "Broadway Series" was canceled today due to bad weather. The Bryant Park "Broadway Series" takes place in the public park every Thursday through Aug. 31. The presentations feature Broadway casts singing songs from their shows.

An event organizer told Playbill On-Line that the July 27 cancellation was particularly frustrating because Bernadette Peters was expected to be on hand to perform songs from Annie Get Your Gun. In earlier shows, understudies have stood in for show stars.
