News Bucks County's Winter Concert Series Will Feature Justin Guarini and Tony Winner Leslie Uggams Bucks County Playhouse will launch a 2014 winter concert series with the world premiere of Justin Guarini Lovesick, a new show from Guarini (Romeo and Juliet) that is directed by Gordon Greenberg, Feb. 14-15 at 8 PM.

Lovesick, according to BCP, "is Guarani's tribute to all the crazy places love has taken him – from a Catholic School closet in Doylestown, PA to American Idol in Hollywood and ultimately, to Broadway and back home to Bucks County. With a nine-piece band and music from Burt Bacharach to Beck to Ben Folds, Lovesick promises to be an evening of raucous and revealing storytelling."

Guarini, the first runner up on the Fox reality series "American Idol," has also been seen on Broadway in American Idiot and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Making her debut at the Bucks County Playhouse is Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Leslie Uggams, who will offer An Evening With Leslie Uggams Feb. 22 at 8 PM.

In An Evening With Leslie Uggams, directed by Michael Bush, Uggams will perform a variety of her classic, signature songs. Uggams Broadway credits include Hallelujah Baby, Thoroughly Modern Millie, On Golden Pond and Anything Goes.

The Bucks County Playhouse is located at 70 South Main Street in New Hope, PA. For more information and tickets, call (215) 862-2121 or visit BCPTheater.org.
