Chris Colfer ("Glee") filmed a public service announcement advocating The Trevor Project, a support hotline for LGBTQ youth, which was also discussed by Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter," Equus, How to Succeed…) in a recent MTV news appearance.

Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother," Assassins, Sweeney Todd) spoke about the issue on MTV News recently, and there have been several PSAs shot on behalf of We Give a Damn, an offshoot of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund that promotes gay activism and gay-straight alliance. The most recent commercial features Rachael Harris, Elton John (Billy Elliot, Aida), Ricky Martin (Evita), Idina Menzel (Wicked) and Wanda Sykes (Annie in Pittsburgh).
