News Bush Is Bad Offers Election Day Special Nov. 7 To celebrate Election Day, Bush Is Bad: Impeachment Edition, the long-running musical revue at the Triad Theatre, is offering a special deal to those who purchase tickets Nov. 7.

Nov. 7 ticket buyers will pay only $7 a ticket (regular price is $45) for any Thursday or Friday performance between Nov. 9 and Dec. 29.

The show's creator, Joshua Rosenblum, joked in a recent statement, "My producers advised me to 'stay the course' and not offer this steep discount. But I told them to read my lips: 'No full-price tickets on Election Day.'"

Directed and choreographed by Gary Slavin, the cast features Lori Hammel, Neal Mayer and Tom Treadwell with David Wolfson at the piano.

Bush Is Bad was penned by Rosenblum, who also serves as the show's musical director. The creative team also includes Anne Auberjonois (costume design) and Tonya Pierre (lighting and sound design).

The revue, according to production notes, "offers catchy tunes, wickedly funny lyrics and scathing impersonations of the President and his dissembling gang of conspirators." New song titles include "Wake Me When It's 2009," "The Man From Diebold," "Heck of a Job" and "You Can Never Have Enough Bush." Bush Is Bad plays Thursdays and Fridays at 9 PM and Saturdays at 7 PM.

The Triad Theatre is located in Manhattan at 158 West 72nd Street. Tickets are priced $45 with no minimum. Call (212) 279-4200 for reservations or visit www.ticketcentral.com.
