News Cahoon, Reinders, Litzsinger Star in Musical Nerds at New York Stage and Film, July 15-18 Nerds, a new musical by the creators of The Bomb-itty of Errors, will run July 15-18 by New York Stage and Film at Vassar College in upstate New York.

The workshop production will star Kate Reinders (Gypsy), Sarah Litzsinger (Phantom) and Kevin Cahoon. Also in the cast are Roderick Hill, Aaron Lazar and Peter Michael Marino. Performances are in the Martel Theatre. The show, called a "musical software satire," was written by The Bomb-itty of Errors scribes Jordan Allen Dutton and Erik Weiner with music by Hal Goldberg. The story follows "the lives of two technological geniuses, as they blaze a path from being 'garage inventors' to warring titans of the computer revolution." John Ruocco directs.
