Put your Broadway fan skills to the test with this week’s video quiz: Name That Tune: Songs from Hamilton. How well do you know the smash hit musical?
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton tells the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary.
With direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Alexander Hamilton.
In addition to the Broadway production—now playing at the Richard Rodgers Theatre—Hamilton also plays Chicago and is currently on its first national tour of the U.S. A second North American tour will kick off in February 2018, meaning that 8000 people a night will have the chance to see the hit show somewhere in the U.S.
