The March 11 event will be held in Manhattan at the New-York Historical Society. CAP21 alumni and friends will perform a tribute to the work of the theatre composers; Maltby and Shire will also take to the stage to share songs and stories about their award-winning careers. The evening will begin with a 6 PM reception, followed by the 7:30 PM performance with the honorees and CAP21 alumni. Dinner will be served at 9 PM.

Maltby and Shire's musicals or revues include Big; Closer Than Ever; Starting Here, Starting Now; Baby; and Take Flight, among others.

Proceeds will support The Theatre Company @ CAP21 and its projects. CAP21 dedicates itself to "the creation of new work, the development of new talent and the building of new audiences." Visit www.cap21.org.
