News Caroline Tony Winner Joins Bundy, Callaway and Davis for Sept. 27 Benefit Concert Anika Noni Rose, who won a 2004 Tony Award for her performance as Emmie Thibodeaux in Caroline, or Change, will be part of the Sept. 27 concert to benefit the Medical and Health Research Association of New York City, Inc.

The upcoming concert at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill will also feature the talents of Hairspray's Laura Bell Bundy, Miss Saigon's Liz Callaway and Rent's Frenchie Davis. Show time is 6 PM. In a statement, MHRA President and CEO Ellen Rautenberg said, "We are thrilled to have such a high caliber of talent performing on our behalf. The majority of MHRA’s services are targeted to women and their children. What better fit to have this group of women, all Broadway stars, perform in support of a New York based health organization."

Tickets for the event, priced $100-$1,000, are available by calling Mike Dimpfl at (212) 285-0220, ext. 182. All tickets include the concert plus an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. B.B. King Blues Club & Grill is located in Manhattan at 237 West 42nd Street.
