The new adaptation by David Eldridge will be presented at the Aurora Theatre Company, April 2-May 9, in Berkeley, CA. The play, which examines the manipulations and plotting within the family of a former embezzler, will also feature Karen Lewis, Jack Powell, Lizzie Calogero, Pamela Gaye Walker and Aaron Wilton. Barbara Oliver will direct.
Carpenter, a veteran of many West Coast stage productions, previously appeared at Aurora Theatre Company in The Master Builder, The Birthday Party and The Homecoming. Grassle, best known for playing mother Caroline Ingalls on “Little House,” makes her debut with the company. Her many stage credits include The Gingham Dog and Butterflies Are Free.
