The biggest movers of the week included All Is Bright, a CD of Christmas music from Boston's Handel and Hayden Society, which reappeared at number 10 after previously dropping off the chart. Angela Gheorghiu's Puccini Opera Arias re-entered the chart at number 14, driven perhaps by the soprano's national television appearance on New Year's Eve.

On the classical-crossover chart, Il Divo's Christmas Collection finally loosened its hold on number one—and returned it to the foursome's smash debut album, Il Divo.
