Director Joe Mellis has announced the cast for his production of Stephen Metcalfe's Emily, which opens Tuesday Aug. 24 for a five-week run at the Attic Theatre in Hollywood. On the list are Rachel Ferrara, Cory Brusseau, Jennifer Zoe Williams, Robert Haber, Harlene Marshall, Ray Palantonio, Jesse James McNamara, Nic Garcia, Conner Evans and Greg McDonald.
Emily deals with one woman's struggle to cope with all the big issues: love, life, career, men and family. The story takes place in the affluent, competitive world of New York's Wall Street.
Metcalfe's other plays include Vikings and Sorrows and Sons. Mellis is an Attic Theatre Ensemble member and has previously directed at the Santa Fe Playhouse.
