News Cast Announced to Join Michael Sheen as Hamlet at London's Young Vic The full cast has been announced to join Michael Sheen in Hamlet, beginning performances at the Young Vic Oct. 28 prior to an official opening Nov. 9, for a run through Jan. 21, 2012.

Joining Sheen, who plays the title role, are Adeel Akhtar as Guildenstern/Francisco, Hayley Carmichael as Horatio, James Clyde as Claudius, Sally Dexter as Gertrude, Callum Dixon as Marcellus, Pip Donaghy as Barnardo, Michael Gould as Polonius, Vinette Robinson as Ophelia, Eileen Walsh as Rosencrantz and Benedict Wong as Laertes.

The production is directed by Ian Rickson, with designs by Jeremy Herbert, choreography by Maxine Doyle (Punchdrunk associate director), costumes by Nicky Gillibrand, lighting by Adam Silverman, sound by Gareth Fry, music by Stephen Warbeck and casting by Sam Jones.
