News Cast Complete for MCC's Debut of LaBute's In a Dark Dark House Off-Broadway newcomer Louisa Krause will join the previously announced Jason Patric and Ron Livingston for the upcoming world premiere of Neil LaBute's In a Dark Dark House for MCC Theater.

Previews for the new work will begin May 16 at Off-Broadway's Lucille Lortel Theatre toward a June 7 opening. Carolyn Cantor directs the run currently scheduled through June 23.

Set in a "private psychiatric facility," as materials reveal, In a Dark Dark House finds two brothers who are brought together again as one undergoes court-ordered rehab. The forced reunion brings to light "barely-hidden animosities between the two" and "their troubled legacy, both inside and outside their dark family home."

Krause has appeared regionally in Rocket to the Moon (Long Wharf Theatre), Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Huntington Theatre), Aida (Ogunquit Playhouse), Side Show, The Cripple of Inishmaan and more. She also appears in the upcoming films "The Babysitters" and "Superheroes."

The actress joins the well-known film actors Patric ("The Lost Boys," "Rush" and "Sleepers") and Livingston ("Office Space," "The Cooler" and "Swingers").

Patric made his Broadway debut in the 2003 revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof opposite Ashley Judd. He has previously collaborated with LaBute on "Your Friends and Neighbors" and bash: latter-day plays. Livingston — who has appeared onstage in Pensacola (Mark Taper Forum), Celebrity (Actors Gang), The Iceman Cometh (Goodman Theatre) and Titus Andronicus (Williamstown) — is also known for his television work on "Band of Brothers," "Standoff," "Sex and the City" and "The Practice."

MCC continues its relationship with the playwright-in-residence after presenting his previous works The Mercy Seat, The Distance From Here, Fat Pig and Some Girl(s). MCC also produced a one-night benefit evening of LaBute plays, Autobahn. Other works include bash: latter-day plays, The Shape of Things, This Is How It Goes and Wrecks and the films "In the Company of Men," "Your Friends and Neighbors," "Nurse Betty," "Possession" and "Wicker Man."

The design team includes Beowulf Boritt (scenic), Jenny Mannis (costume), Ben Stanton (lighting) and Rob Kaplowitz (music and sound).

Director Cantor recently staged Off-Broadway's Essential Self Defense. The Edge Theater founding artistic director has also directed Orange Flower Water, Stone Cold Dead Serious (for Edge) as well as EVE-olution (Cherry Lane) and Kitty Kitty Kitty (SPF).

Tickets to MCC's In a Dark Dark House at The Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street, are available by calling (212) 279-4200 or online at mcctheater.com.
