Cabaret & Concert News Cast Members from Cats, School of Rock, Phantom of the Opera Will Offer Free Sing-Along in Central Park The event will celebrate the creation of an Andrew Lloyd Webber Sing for Hope Piano.

Cast members from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway productions of Cats, School of Rock, and The Phantom of the Opera will join forces June 20 at noon in the Central Park Dairy (mid-park between 64th and 65th Streets) for a public sing-along at their new custom Sing for Hope Piano.

This summer Sing for Hope marks the placement of its 400th artist-designed piano to date. Cast members from the three aforementioned musicals came together to design and paint a Lloyd Webber piano.

Fans are invited to join the three casts for a lunch-time sing-along featuring “Mr. Mistoffelees” from Cats, “Teacher’s Pet” from School of Rock, and “The Music of the Night” from The Phantom of the Opera. All three companies will also sing “Any Dream Will Do” from Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The Sing for Hope Pianos are the country's largest annual public arts project. After their time on the streets, Sing for Hope will transport the instruments to NYC public schools, as part of their ongoing creative programs to enrich students' lives.
