The thirty-fifth anniversary production of Fiddler on the Roof will play the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts Feb. 5-7 for a total of 5 performances. The touring company of the Jerome Robbins' musical is directed by Sammy Dallas Bayes and stars John Preece as Tevye.
Fiddler won ten Tony Awards when it first played on Broadway and has been revived numerous times. Bayes, a longtime associate of Robbins, appeared in the original Broadway cast. He later went on to serve as associate choreographer for the film version of Fiddler and then as choreographer of the revival production starring Topol.
