News "Charlie Rose" Welcomes I Am My Own Wife Trio July 30 I Am My Own Wife's playwright, director and star will be featured on the July 30 broadcast of the PBS chat show "Charlie Rose."

Rose, who is also a correspondent on "60 Minutes," will welcome Wife's Doug Wright (playwright), Moises Kaufman (director) and Jefferson Mays (actor). Recent Tony winner Mays portrays several characters in the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which explores the life of transvestite Charlotte Von Mahlsdorf, who survived both the Nazi and Communist regimes.

The broadcast will also feature interviews with Denzel Washington and Jonathan Demme, the star and filmmaker of the current remake of "The Manchurian Candidate."

"Charlie Rose" airs in the metropolitan area on WNET-13 at 11 PM ET; check local listings.
