Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth will host the live broadcast of The Critics' Choice Awards on VH1 Jan. 15, 2010.

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) present the awards "to honor the finest in cinematic achievement," according to a BCFA release. The winners of the 15th annual event will be announced live Jan. 15 from the Hollywood Palladium. VH1 present the show beginning at 9 PM (ET). Rob Marshall's film version of the Maury Yeston-Arthur Kopit musical "Nine" tied Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" with a record-setting ten nominations each.

"Nine" was nominated for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress (Marion Cotillard), Best Ensemble, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Sound and Best Song (Maury Yeston's new tune for the film "Cinema Italiano").

Chenoweth, a Tony winner for You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, has also played on the New York stage in Wicked, The Fantasticks, Steel Pier, A New Brain, Epic Proportions, Strike Up the Band, On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, The Apple Tree, Stairway to Paradise and Candide. Her screen credits include "Four Christmases," "RV," "Pushing Daisies" (Emmy Award), "The West Wing," "The Music Man," "Stranger Than Fiction," "Deck the Halls" and "Running with Scissors."
