Chicago-Based Long-Form Improv Duo TJ & Dave Will Play New York's Town Hall | Playbill

News Chicago-Based Long-Form Improv Duo TJ & Dave Will Play New York's Town Hall TJ Jagodowski and Dave Pasquesi, a long-form improv duo from Chicago, will play a return engagement at New York City's Town Hall Oct. 3. The duo will be joined by alternative country-rocker Robbie Fulks. The Barrow Street Theatre will produce.

A statement released describes the show as such: "Combining slow-burning patience with flashes of virtuosity, TJ & Dave do the improbable, surprising even the most rigorous theatre audiences by the level of literary accomplishment they achieve without pen and paper. Indeed these Wright Brothers of the unwritten create full-length, hour-long plays from scratch (without audience suggestions), complete with highly nuanced scenarios, multiple characters and deeply satirical outcomes."

Fulks' most recently released recording "Gone Away Backwards" was named one of 2013's best by Rolling Stone and NPR. Fulks has appeared on "Grand Ole Opry," "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Austin City Limits."
