The production, which is currently playing the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre through Jan. 15, 2011, welcomed Dillon Stevens to the role of Michael Aug. 1.
Tommy Batchelor and Giuseppe Bausilio will play their final performances as Billy this fall. Bausilio will continue in the role of Billy in the upcoming second national tour of the Tony-winning musical.
Erlick is 11 years old and from Burlington, Ontario. His training began at Stars Academy and recently Canada's National Ballet School. Pei is 12 and from Iowa City. He started ballet at six with The University of Iowa Youth Ballet, Nolte Academy, and Milwaukee Ballet School. In 2009 he was invited to study full-time at Canada's National Ballet School. Stevens is 13 years old, from China Grove, NC. He enjoys tap and hip-hop and was "discovered" by a New York Older Billy at a dance competition.
Featuring music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry, Billy Elliot continues to play Broadway’s Imperial Theatre.
The production features scenic design by Ian MacNeil, costume design by Nicky Gillibrand, lighting design by Rick Fisher and sound design by Paul Arditti. Musical supervision and orchestrations are by Martin Koch.
