August: Osage County enjoyed a sold-out run during its world premiere at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 2007. Just months later, the show transferred to Broadway where it played 648 performances, earned five Tony Awards and became one of the longest-running plays in Broadway history.
The company was sent off in style the afternoon of Aug. 6 when they were toasted by Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Australian Consul-General Ms. Elizabeth Schick and members of the Steppenwolf staff.
